Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists provide assessment and intervention to help clients of all ages maintain or regain function in their occupational role, perform tasks and improve or maintain independence, safety and quality of life.
Occupational therapy services are provided in hospital, community health centres and the home environment.
Occupational therapy services for children aged under 18 are provided as either part of ‘KidScreen’ through our Child and Family Therapy Team or one on one. You can find out more about the Child and Family Therapy team.
KidScreen runs weekly at Tweed Heads Community Health and on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Murwillumbah Community Health.
Access criteria:
- For one on one – from GP or other clinician
- For KidScreen, contact Community Health Centre for an appointment

- Adult - 8.30am - 4.30pm (Mon-Wed)
- Children – 8:30am – 4:30pm (Mon-Tues)
