The Tweed Renal Dialysis Unit (RDU) is a 12-chair facility providing care for people with end-stage kidney disease who are unable to manage dialysis at home, and for those who are acutely unwell. Dialysis care is provided by a multidisciplinary team comprising Renal Physicians, specialist Nurses, and other Allied Health professionals.

The Tweed RDU also provides an Outreach Service that includes chronic kidney disease management, pre-dialysis education, peritoneal dialysis training and home Haemodialysis support, as well as a Renal Supportive Care service that provides specialised care for patients in the community with end stage kidney disease who decide not to have dialysis.

Hours of Service: 7am to 9.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
