Audiometry provides assessment of hearing problems in children aged between 3 – 18 years.

This service is available in some sites through the School Health Nurse.

We accept referrals from GPs, Pre-schools, Child and Family health, self or family referrals.

The Women’s Health Clinic provides a wide range of services for women, including cervical screening testing, breast checks, pregnancy testing and advice, postnatal checks, post termination checks, continence assessment, and limited Sexual Transmitted Infection (STI) screening.

Our Women’s Health Nurses can provide information on sexual health, reproductive health, menstruation, menopause, osteoporosis, relationship and lifestyle issues and contraception, as well as group or individual education programs.

The Transition Care Program offers goal-oriented, time-limited and therapy-focused care to help older people regain independence after a hospital stay. It provides older people with a package of services that includes low intensity therapy such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy, as well as social work, nursing support or personal care to maintain and improve physical or cognitive functioning.

The program aims to help older people return home after a hospital stay, rather than prematurely enter residential aged care.

The speech pathology service provides assessment, management and education for patients presenting with communication (speech, language, fluency, voice, multimodal) and/ or swallowing difficulties.

Speech Pathology is included in the multidisciplinary care of inpatients as well as targeted outpatient services.

Paediatric speech pathology services are available to infants and children of all ages, prioritising early intervention.

Community Social Work Services provides therapeutic social work and counselling support to adults aged 18 years and over, families and significant others. We support people experiencing social, emotional, psychological or behavioural challenges by offering a safe and confidential environment. Our focus is on improving wellbeing, resilience and positive mental health outcomes.

With client consent, we work collaboratively with families, carers and relevant service providers to ensure coordinated and holistic support tailored to individual needs. 

Our sexual assault service provides a 24-hour crisis response team for children, young people and adults who have experienced sexual assault, indecent assault, or attempted sexual assault.

We also provide counselling and forensic medical assessment and care immediately after sexual assault and in the following weeks and months.

We provide information and support for non-offending parents, carers, partners, siblings or family members of children or adults who have been affected by sexual assault.

Respiratory services are free programs for people with long term lung conditions. They include Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Respiratory education services.

Our Prostate Cancer Support nurse provides information and support for men, and their families, who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

We work closely with the health team to get the best of care for each client.

We offer assistance and guide clients to navigate the prostate cancer journey, linking them with relevant services in the local community.

We help increase awareness of prostate cancer by providing education and support in the community, to groups such as Men’s Shed, Cancer Council support groups, Prostate BLUE Tweed City 2485 Support Group.
