Our Inpatient Wards are located on Level 1 and Level 2 of the hospital. The wards provide acute, sub-acute and rehabilitation services to patients.
Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Unit
The Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Unit is located on Level1. Sub-acute services include palliative care, maintenance care, and care offered to people who are not acutely unwell and in need of support following an episode of illness.
The Rehabilitation Unit is a 10-bed inpatient facility providing rehabilitation services to the Clarence Valley community. Patients in the Rehabilitation Unit are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of medical, nursing and Allied Health practitioners including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Social Work. The Rehabilitation Unit offers a fully equipped therapy gym, dining room, kitchen and courtyard garden for group activities and individual rehabilitation programs.

Acute Medical Ward
The Acute Medical Ward is located on Level 2. Patients who are acutely unwell and do not need to be transferred to another hospital for ongoing treatment will be cared for in the Acute Medical Ward. Patients can have heart monitoring on this ward.
