Our specialist nurses provide Diabetes education and support for individuals and families living with Diabetes. Education sessions are provided either one-on-one or in a group setting with our aim being to promote a healthy lifestyle through gaining knowledge, understanding, and skills required to self-manage Diabetes.

In addition, we also provide continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pumps, and support and information for gestational diabetes. The Diabetes service works closely with the Diabetes Dietitian to provide holistic, client-centred care which is available to both adults and children.

To access the Diabetes Service, a diagnosis is required of one of the following: Type 1, Type 2, or Gestational Diabetes, or Pre-diabetes requiring diet, insulin, and medication management and support.

Hours of service: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
